1. Overview

FieldTrackr (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the FieldTrackr field service management platform available at fieldtrackr.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, business name, and password credentials managed through Clerk.

Business data: Job records, customer contact information, addresses, notes, milestones, and related data you enter into the platform.

Integration data: If you connect third-party services (Google Calendar, QuickBooks Online), we collect and store OAuth tokens and the data you choose to sync, such as calendar events or customer records.

Usage data: Log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used for security and performance monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the FieldTrackr platform
  • To authenticate users and manage access via Clerk
  • To sync data with connected third-party services at your direction
  • To send transactional emails (job updates, invitations) via Resend
  • To process subscription billing via Stripe
  • To improve the platform and diagnose technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party processors, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management
  • Neon — cloud database hosting
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Google — Google Calendar integration (optional)
  • Intuit — QuickBooks Online integration (optional)
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery

5. QuickBooks Integration

If you connect your QuickBooks Online account, FieldTrackr will access your QuickBooks customer and invoice data solely to display and sync records within your FieldTrackr account. We do not sell or share QuickBooks data with third parties. You may disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the Integrations settings page, which will delete your stored OAuth tokens.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export records. OAuth tokens for third-party integrations are deleted immediately upon disconnection.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed credentials, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Business account owners may also manage team member data directly within the platform.

9. Children's Privacy

FieldTrackr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
